01 / THE 12TREE IDEA

Your next goal.
Someone else’s
new beginning.

We’re a team of fitness professionals who believe the benefits of movement should reach further.

Some people want to finish their first triathlon. Some want to feel stronger on a bike. Others want the confidence to walk further, get out of a chair or return to exercise after a setback.

12TREE brings those ambitions together. Our aim is to use income from personalised online coaching, alongside community and partner support, to subsidise training, specialist rehabilitation and adapted equipment for people who would benefit from a helping hand.

GOOD COACHING STARTS WITH LISTENING.

Hip, knee or back problems need individual consideration. We assess whether coaching is appropriate and refer to a qualified healthcare professional when needed. Exercise plans do not replace diagnosis or medical treatment.

03 / A COMMUNITY THAT GIVES BACK

Stronger together.
Further together.

Our ambition is simple: turn everyday training into a lasting source of support.

01

You work towards your goal.

Train with a personalised online plan and professional guidance.

02

Coaching helps fund support.

We intend to allocate a share of coaching income, alongside community contributions, to a dedicated support fund.

03

Someone gets a helping hand.

Our intended support includes subsidised programmes, specialist physio or rehabilitation, and equipment that supports independence.

Built on trust, from the start.

12TREE is developing this model. Contribution levels, eligibility and the allocation process will be published before funded support launches. We’re not currently taking donations or promising funded places through this website.

04 / THE PEOPLE BEHIND 12TREE

Real people.
A shared purpose.

An established team of fitness professionals, united by the belief that good coaching can serve a greater purpose.

Meet Geoff.
Still one of us.

A lifetime on two wheels. A new chapter in keeping moving.

Geoff Twelvetree’s years of cycling with Parkinson’s, and his changing mobility needs, helped inspire 12TREE. His story is one example of the people we want this community to support: people whose sporting chapter may have changed, but whose need for independence has not.

Project CRUSHER is our first proposed equipment project—a bespoke mobility scooter with comfort, accessibility and plenty of Geoff’s personality.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
get started.

Do I have to be a triathlete?

No. Endurance coaching is one part of 12TREE. We also welcome people working towards strength, general fitness and a considered return to exercise.

Can you help with a hip, knee or back problem?

A suitable exercise programme may help build strength and confidence, but the right approach depends on the problem. We’ll first consider whether coaching is appropriate. We do not diagnose conditions, guarantee pain relief or replace medical care.

How much does coaching cost?

We are developing online coaching packages within a £50–£200 monthly range. Your programme, support level, final price and terms will be agreed with you before you commit. There is no online checkout at this stage.

How much of my fee supports other people?

The contribution model is being developed. We will publish the amount or percentage allocated, how recipients are selected and how funds are used before launching the funded support scheme.

Can I apply for support or donate now?

We welcome conversations about future support and partnerships. Applications and donation payments are not open on this site yet. Email support@12tree.org to discuss future support or partnerships.

Are you a registered charity?

This website does not claim registered charity status. The 12TREE Foundation is the name of the initiative; its operating structure and funding arrangements are being developed.
